Drove from St Louis area to way the heck up into Michigan for a POS "O" one time.

Drove to the far end of Kentucky for 7 various Cubs and a buttload of parts. Man that was a long a$$ day. Glad I took my Brother with me, so he could sleep all the way there and back.

Drove to Florida for 3 various Cubs.

Made one trip to southeastern Indiana then to Albion In. then North of Chicago.

Went to Wisconsin to get my loader.

Columbia Mo, once.

Near Chicago several times. Anna Il. once. Arcola Il. twice. Indianapolis twice.

I'm not leaving town any more!

Until I find something else that I think I have to have.

I've driven about 2.5 hours one way for a whole trailer load. Most of mine were local. The 1250DS and the 682 came from Kansas from 782CC. He hauled them most of the way to me on his way through Ill. Got my cab and a blade from Nikster. He would have been about 8hrs round trip, but my good friend lives in Chicago and brought them to me. Lucky to have such good guys here who want others who enjoy the hobby and are willing to help each other get it!

Farthest I went was for the loader from Pennsylvania. I'm not a fan if road trips or sitting for long periods of time so the 4.75 hours one way really sucked. Most of my cub stuff is purchased locally or 45 mins to an hour away.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
