All I can say is it's much better than swinging a brush cutter for hours. I'm all about sitting on my butt letting the tractor do the work. Wish I had one of these things years ago. Still need to tidy it up a bit but I'm a happy camper.

Yeah I know...... Even fingers that get in the way when folding them up...
I never did that, but that was the first thing we were taught when folding the big one we used to cut hay. The way they are designed, the sick moves when you fold them up, and we were taught to fold it from the back of the bar, with an open hand. I knew someone that cut their finger off in one.

Thanks for the warnings guys. I like having all 10 digits attached. Reminds me of the MSHA safety training we used to do when I was in the quarry biz.

Just make sure you keep EVERYTHING moving lubed up good. I don't know about yours, but on my 402-D it seems like after 30 minutes or so I need to re-lube the bar up with a spray fluid.

This one sat for a long time so I poured some chain saw bar oil on it. seemed to reduce the shaking but as you said after a while it started shaking again. Guess I better stock up on oil.
