I have a set of those too. Our Original is going to be 1 of 1.

With my son, EricR Super 2084 with 54" mower, 451 blower. 2086 with 3 pt hitch, 54 inch deck, 551 blower, 54 in brinly blade. A 4 digit original w deck. A 70 with deck. 2 102s both with 42 in decks, one with creeper, 1 36 inch IH snow thrower CW36, 1 42 inch IH blade. 149 with mower. 2072 w 3 pt hitch, Johnny bucket, 60 in mower, 451 blower. Jacobson GT 10 with mower. DR Lawn vac tow behind,Home made lawn roller. Brinly cart, 2 off brand carts and 1 home made cart.

I always thought this was interesting. I heard there were 25 pre-production that went south for testing in late 1960.

Yes. That is correct. Except, that makes 11. Check the math.

The second statement is also true. 25 sent south because there was still grass there in Dec/Jan. The book I have, the author knows of 7 of those 25 known to exist.

How far south?
Around here, lawns quit growing in October to March.

What the "HECK", does this guy have a tractor for sale or not?

I would think that with the price tag on that thing he would be bending over backward to generate interest in it...

Bet he's second guessing himself.
Thinking someone would have bit the hook by now. Without all the questions.
But then again, he must of thought that with that price tag that only serious potential buyers that new their stuff would be inquiring about it.
