Well we're getting to know everybody just a little bit more. I used to be into cars when I was younger. Now it's cubs. All I think about is cubs!!! The 13 that i've owned seems so unsubstantial now after reading through everybody's lists...

But to a noobie and beginer like myself, 13 is quite substantial. The members who have 100+ through the years is simply mind boggling.

That and the members who currently have hundreds! I'll bet that's why cubcrazy hasn't posted yet, he's still out counting.

I'd guess I've had 25-30 over the years ranging from O's to Supers with a few 2000 series tossed in. Most of the 2000's donated there engines to keep more worthy Cubs running.
![]() I have 6 at the moment.

As I read through the lists of what you guys have, I see very few 104's. Any reason why they seem to be unpopular? So far, mine has been a great little machine. Granted, I have only had it a month, but so far I love it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
