I've tried everything but the hypnosis thing where they prick your ear. My wife does not want to quit and as soon as I smell one I want one. The electronic one does work but I find myself cheating when I see my wifes cigarettes laying on the table.

I'll tell you all this. I don't know how old you smokers are. I'm 34. My cousin who is 47 has lung cancer and was given 18 months to live. That opened my eyes to quitting. I guess because he's a family member. His brother, my other cousin who was a sheriff in Marshall,MO died of throat cancer at roughly the same age. Left behind a wife and kids.
I'm already coughing my butt off when I'm not having one. Can't walk up the stairs in my house without being out of breathe. I'd say weight would have something to do with heavy breathing, but I'm 190lbs. Plus, I got news from my wife that she's got a kid cooking in the oven. So, one way or another, I'm quitting. And she will too. Figure I need to be around for a good while to raise my boy <(hope it is anyway). We can all find good reasons to quit, but the main one is our own health. And yes, I enjoy smoking.

I find the whole "smoking will kill you debate" interesting. Not going to say it's good for you. I've smoked regularly for over 10 years. (Was an occasional smoker before that. Cigars, socially, and when drinking kind of thing.) I've known plenty of people who died well into their 80's and 90's who had smoked since they were early teens. I really think it makes a difference how active you are. I'm not overweight, and I work pretty hard. I don't exercise or work out, unless you consider gardening, farming, and just all around manual labor exercise. But, I have been to a doctor in recent years, I had 99% oxygen saturation in my blood and no heart problems at all. All around healthy. The doc said my oxygen level was outstanding period. Say's he see's non-smokers that don't score that high. So, be that as it may..... it's not a good reason to keep doing it, but at this point I am suffering no ill effects and I'm gonna keep doing it. FWIW, there are a lot of other things that are (IMHO) just as bad or worse for you. Aspartame, lots of pop/soda, food preservatives, lack of exercise are just a few that come to mind.
*Rant over~

Smoke em' if you got them.
There is a joke about smoking and sex but I can't say it here... I look a little closer at the lighter, the base has a date of 1971, the other thingy is made in Japan. Now back to smoking.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
