Bills are the only thing USPS manages to deliver on time here. Like everyone else, when USPS loses something, they have NO IDEA where it is--the last time they lost a package I was told to wait a couple weeks--I can't figure out the Priority in Priority Mail.
Just a heads up, I needed a combine part once in a hurry. I had it sent UPS blue. When its going to a home address, UPS delivers by the end of the day, that day it was 8:00 PM! I had to burn the midnight oil to get it installed. Dad recently had some custom blended medication being delivered by Fed-EX Home on a Sat. The driver pulled into his yard from the farm drive and never stopped when he saw the dogs. It took an hour on the phone back forth across the country to ever get tot the local fed ex hub to have the driver come back and blow his horn. Claimed they can't contact the drivers. Funny thing UPS can. It took about 6 hours to get the driver back out here. By far, I have the least trouble from UPS and request them when possible.
