One of the driest summers we've had in my memory, not more than a couple of inches of rain in the past 5 months. And most of that came in one fast moving storm that lasted about 4 hours back in July. All came to an end today with rain forecast through Sunday.

Well with the exception of yesterday , Sept 30th it has been raining since Sept. the 24th. tomorrow we are supposed to get 5-8" more. Not sure the dam on my little pond can handle that much more. Just hope it holds up or I may be in deep S--t.

The pool hose is way too small to do any good, but thanks for the idea. Roland The hurricane is not the big problem. Just a lingering rain storm that is just sitting over us and dumping on us. Weather report this AM looks a little better.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
