Yea, I normally do the Gloplugs, Bug I don't think i've ever heard the click, is it a load click, because somedays it takes a Long time to start, Julo's always made me sit there at least 3 minutes probably using the gloplugs. I do have to say though, that once she's started, I can start her in NO problems. not even smoke really. Just tell me if yall think this sounds bad. Or Idels to high.

Thanks guys. I appreciate all the help.

Yea, yall know how I said I put oil in last night. Well I went to start her just now, to spray the yard, with the spray rig. Well i pulled the dip stick, and there is about 2 inches above the full mark, or about 1 inch above the last L in Full.

Is it bad to run it with that mutch oil. and i'm going to assume that you check it before running, or durring so that the oil is at the level it will be while running.

Please Help

You can't check it while running....with the tractor OFF, pull the dipstick out, wipe it off, and then put it back in and pull it out. This is the correct level.

Any extra will probably come out the breather.

what kind of hydro fluid did you use? The fluid setting on your fill tube looks pretty nasty.

Cody, I don't hear a click either. The manual or sicker under the hood (if it's still there) tells you about how many seconds depending on temperature. Also the manual says indicator will turn red when its ready. Mine usually turns red about the same time I've hit my required seconds. I really couldn't tell if yours was idling too high because of some interference noise plus my speakers aren't that good.

I think the rpms sounded fine. Although a little rough coming through my speakers, it sounded about the same as my 882. I wish mine ran right now. Its in the shop awaiting new parts and my TLC

Ok, Thanks guys.

@ Matt. Ok, then it's way over. I need to drain it. Besides removing the rea pannel, there isn't a way. I looked, and don't see any hole, besides maybe removing a bolt from the bottom of the back cover, will oil come out, or is it in a solid piece.

@aagitch. I used the cub cadet hydro oil. It looked fine when comming out of the leaking seal, so I just added some. Not a good idea it seems. As it is very white, and not clumpy, but it wants to stick together. if that makes since

@aagitch. Now that i'm paying attention. there is a Slight click, about 30-35 seconds I'd say.

@Iluvtruks0. Thanks for the tip.

@ all. I'm going to redo it, I had the truck on, and I guess I didn't realize that it would pick it up. I got a new battery this afternoon, so i don't need to jump her anymore.
I'll take another video tomorrow.

If you notice, on one of them, I show that the altinator isn't charging. When I turn on the Headlights, the volts go to the 1st negative line. Is that normal. Besides going to the Cub Cadet dealer, is it possible to find a GOOD used altinator for not mutch $$$. I've been spending more than I can put back in. In the past month, i've spent probably @500, between Hydro oil, new battery, seal, a seal kit for a Ram on my 21 ' IH plow, battery for the TG1860, Hoses, and couplings for the 1086 & equipment. I need to regenerage some before I start another project it seems.

Thanks for all the help and reading guys
Cody

I haven't had to glo it for that long since i've had it since February so that's probably why I haven't heard the click. You can drain most of the fluid from the plug at the front just below the hydro filter. Then take the rear cover off and replace with new gasket. If you don't already have the service manual, they are available on pdf. If you want let me know and I'll email it to you. I didn't know jack about the smokers til a few months ago but reading manuals front to back helped out alot. When I have my headlights on, it shows a discharge unless it's at full rpm's. I was wondering if that's normal too. Maybe someone else can confirm if that's normal. I think I priced a new one from a couple places on epay for about 120.00.

So that is a drain plug. Good.

no, I don't have one. Yea I want it. My email is in my profile.

Without the lights, it should be charging though, Julo alwas told me to make sure it charged, So I guess it's been a problem child since then. :P I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's not charging at all, because no matter what RPM, it doesn't charge, it's always just a little discharging.

Thanks Johncub7172. If you change the numbers around, we have the same cub.

Thanks guys
Cody

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
