Yeah there is a deck Jay, but I don't think I'll be doing anything with it. It would be "weird" cutting with it as the discharge chute is on the left side. Plus the front clutch for the deck isn't in the best of condition, so I'll keep it for parts for the drive clutch on the back of the engine as they are the same. Just In Case.

No I don't know him. The only guy I ever talked with that knows a bunch about them was Steve Guidner. He has them all, Colt and Case.

Worked on the hood and grill shell today. Got my parts from Jeff in PA, fit like a glove. The original "hood studs" were worn out, so sent Jeff a picture of what I needed, and a couple days later here they are
Also the hood just rested on these studs and wore out the sheet metal, so I welded washers on the inside of the hood to sturdy things up a little. Little at a time, don't want to rush it.

Yes sir Nick, you want the best, you hire the best. You "saw" a IH bolt, it's not there any longer.

It was all in the plan, and they worked great. Thanks again for the fast service.

"Dizzy"? Oh, busy. Either one I will answer too. It should for awhile. Just wait to see what I'm dragging home next... You will think I fell out of a stupid tree and hit every branch twice.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
