My condolences to you and your family. Just been through a similar situation a couple months ago and it's one of the hardest things to go through in life.

Thanks for the support guys, it really means a lot. Everybody is glad it's done and he doesn't have to suffer anymore, I'm sure the upcoming holidays will be hard especially for my wife.

Tim,

Do your best to keep his memory alive in your young son. We lost my mother when my youngest boy was 5 and it is sad to say that now at 16 he has no memory of her. Lots of pictures and stories and "remember when?".
