Sam, seeing you mentioned ZZTop, had to add this one.

Gotsta love it
Oh yeah, it's coming back to me know, let's not forget, Slaughter, Skid Row, Kix, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Rush, The mighty Judas Priest, Dokken, Tesla, Great White, Winger, Y&T, Foghat, Alice in Chains, Black Label Society, Triumph, Armord Saint, Vixen, The Runaways who brought us Joan Jett and Lita Ford. And Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart.
Went out to the shop and looked at my CD's, but these are the only ones I can remember on this trip.

Geez, reading these posts makes me feel real old now. I grew up in the 1960's and don't see much reference to the singers, groups, or bands from that era.

Ronnie, I like your Les Paul. I am a Gibson Fan too (Kalamazoo era). I have a '67 Firebird.

Thanks. I did mention Cream, Grand Funk and Deep Purple. Those were 60's bands? The 70's and 80's Gibsons are the ones I collect. They are called Norlins and they are much heavier than the re-issues. They also came with Shaw PU and ether a 50 thick neck or a 60 thin neck. I have a 69 gold top that's probably the most expensive one I own. Your 67 is worth a lot too. Is it one like this one?

Thought I'D put my in here. I like all music from classical to rock. My favorite is country, NOT!! the crap they play on the radio today. Although there are artist out there that are traditional artist but they are never played on the radio. (not around here anyway). Thanks to the internet and youtube I have found many of them.
As for rock I feel like Roland when you guys name all those bands I never heard of. But I understand it's an age thing. My rock bands are bands such as CCR. I still can remember the first time I heard this this song on Armed Forces Radio. I was getting short and when you began to get short things get somewhat more real.

As for my favorite music (country) I found this artist not long ago. I'm sure some of you guys have heard of him. Cody Jinks . If you like traditional country it's worth the time to youtube him.

Hard to believe we forgot CCR. I also haven't mentioned Charlie Daniels. He is as close as I come to Country unless it's Bluegrass. Who could ever forget Dueling Banjos. The song was written by Arthur Smith who sued the film Deliverance for using it. It first aired on the Andy Griffith show when the Dillards played it for Aunt Bee. Here's my favorite one played by the most talented string instrument player of all times, Roy Clark. And the one everyone knows. BTW, the little boy never played a banjo in his life.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
