If I kept all the ones I bought over the years, I would be up there with cubcrazy, but the kids who bough from me were happy.

Long time since I posted here.....Saw this and chuckled. I lost count after 24 or so......not even for sure which ones run and which don't anymore. Been way to busy with work that I haven't even turned a wrench on one of them for over a year. Hope everyone is well. Best wishes for everyone to have good health and a prosperous New Year.
I did peek at the site a while back and saw more bashing.......that I NEVER MISS, but I do miss the camaraderie among friends. Later, Cub Cadet 123

last summer I had 13 (4 o's ) (3 wide frames) and the rest( narrow frames.)
one day I walked around them all and parked one of the 149s in the shop and sold the rest . It's a good runner and kept half a dozen implements . I found the older I get the less things I want . jmho .......

I have 11 running. All substantially restored. There are 9 in this picture, the other two were at the other house at the time--one 1450 and the 109.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
