Picked up an 1864 for parts for the diesel, mainly for the power steering, CV driveshaft, and the transmission. Might use the super steer axle under the diesel but I am going to test fit with the stock axle and see if the cylinder clears the tires. Also got a brand new seat under a horrendous seat cover that was full of mouse nest and packing foam that just needs some paint on the seat pan because the powder coating is all falling off in giant sheets.
Diesel helped unload it, normally I would just roll it off but the brakes are dragging and the blade got stuck on the side of the trailer. Picked the rear of the 1864 up with the 3 point and rolled it off the trailer.

Did some mocking up and honestly, I hated the stance of the 1864 axle. Bit too tall and the wheels were too far forward for my liking. Had a 318 axle laying around that I decided to give a test fit and it works way better than the 1864 axle. The 318 axle is 2.5" taller than stock but the wheels are in the same spot, while the 1864 axle is 3.25" taller than stock with the wheels about 1.5" further forward.
I'm going to try to make the whole setup seem stock but the hydraulic lines have already been replaced/modified so I'm not super hopeful about it looking totally stock.
