I had the 782 out for a Sunday drive, it was a balmy 96 degrees here with gulf coast like humidity.

I'm going to get that trailer you have. Northern tool is only an hour away.

Job very well done!
I agree, that is a good looking rig.

We likewise had 97 and humidity this weekend! It was a perfect time to repair the fuel system in the 782D (new petcock and grommets).

Walking the push mower around for 2.5 hours because of BigRed being down was good motivation to spending another hour and a half taking off the pans , seat and fuel tank!

All is now good!

John

You're younger than you seem! I guess Cub repair keeps one vital and youthful.

I was waiting for that... that's my 3 year old son. He loves the Cub's but has an obsession with John Deere's, which I have none.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
