Thanks guys, It came with a real nice deck and another that is junk but has alot of good parts on it. It's missing the bird and IH logo from the grill, and the muffler was totally shot, both cables are shot, but other than that It's all there. I'm sure it won't be long before I'm on here looking for advice, I'm sure sooner than later.

Ihnick,
I picked those two 2135s up back on October, 09 for $50. The guy told me the one on the right had a bad motor and he didn't know anything about the one on the left except it had a busted transmission. I got them home and they both run, and run good. I bought a transmission for the one so they're both good to go. I even have all the engine side panels. I need to take newer pictures of them. Both 104s run, the 125 runs, one of the 123 runs (of course the second 123 needs an engine). The 122 should be easy to get running (the po told me it had a carb problem), and of course the 107 is in pieces, but I have everything to put that one back together, except the steering wheel and a seat. I have the engine block for it and a few engine parts, but not enough to put that engine together. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
