The battery (which was only like half-charged) didn't like the cold, luckily had another fully charged. Swapped them out, and she fired right up!

Also, all the snow is melting now

Default My fleet

I snapped a few pictures when we were getting everything ready for winter. We have a couple of non IH ones in there that have followed up home. Everything runs except the spirit and the 127 and hopefully they will be by the end of the winter.

That's an amazing lineup! Loving the old truck you got behind the Cubs too!

Besides the mystery tractor currently in shambles in my workshop, I'm the proud owner of a pair of 122's
The first one, on the right, is a '66 bought by my dad before I was born to take care of a long gravel driveway and haul the trash cans to the end of it. Over time, I gradually drove it more and became it's primary caretaker.
On the left, this '67 was found at a tractor show. Dad's original plan was to combine the best parts of both to make one with all the options (except creeper drive) but after discovering it ran fine, he and Mom gave it to me.
Edit: Um, the pictures didn't come with the post. Will fix that soon.
Edit 2: I still haven't figured out how to add pictures to an old post, but the picture I meant to put on here became my profile picture.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
