I pulled out my Original after sitting for a couple months. Fresh battery, some gas, and she fired right up. Governor is still wacky, gotta figure that out...

New to forum. New project 1250
Hello, I am new to the forum… I have a international Harvester cub cadet 1250 from 1976. I’m looking to restore this tractor and I plan on sanding and painting this Tuesday, I’m going to try to keep this as simple as possible but here is how the tractor is currently running. The tractor is in pretty rough cosmetic shape, but mechanically wise… It’s an amazing condition. Rag joints on the driveshaft are good, no driveshaft wobble, and the motor mounts are pretty good. I plan on mostly just painting and smaller things. I don’t intend to overhaul the engine or transmission. Very soon you’ll be receiving some updates on how it’s doing. I have some pictures here and a few links to it running.

IH 1250 90% complete
After installing a new fuel petcock, new air filter, fuel gauge, clean up, carb tuning, new electric cables, new battery, new paint job, rust sanded, primed, new decals, it’s FINALLY (almost) finished. Again, I never intended on doing a full restoration, however I did intend on cleaning it up, painting it, and getting it in good running order. Not everything is done however. I need new volt meter, hour meter, a seat fix, probably tires, and hydraulic oil, gasket, and filter. Afterwards. The tractor is done! I’ll be sure to bring it to tractor shows as well. I know I can’t really compete with some of you professionals, however what a transformation it did make! Let me know what you think!

Just adding my pic to some really nice Cub Cadets - here are my three International Harvesters - a '51 H, a '59 Cub, and a '71 CC 106. I'm working on a '64 CC 100 now and hope to have it up and running by the end of July...
