Very very nice! Thanks for sharing the family photo!

Wish I had room for a "big" Cub.

Thanks! And my wife said I can have as many tractors as I want, but "NO more buildings!" - so, I'm tapped out at four.

Default I'm very Happy to be here

Got a new to me 74 1450 with a 50A deck I picked up last weekend for $50. Yard finds still exist! Cleaned the carb threw a plug at it and changed the oil. Runs like a champ. Working on the deck bearings this weekend and then i'm taking her out mowing! Thank you for approving my membership!

Well lately the Cubs have been sitting around, haven't needed them and been too busy. But today I decided to pull my 2 current runners out for a bit.

First, out came the 106, for a little bit of chore time, giving the cows some left over corn stalks. Our neighbor grows sweet corn during the summer to sell, but leaves the stalks, which are a great thing to cut and feed to the cows.

And then of course the 107 had to come out. Hadn't been run in over a month due to lack of time. Had to swap batteries to get her going as the one in it had died. Once she got going I also fired up the ol' H and the 2 posed for some pretty pictures

So other than being kinda rainy, a pretty good day

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
