The rear meats look awesome! Might have to pick me up a set or two of those. What happened to your hood?

I have the hood. It's broken where it bolts to the hood hinge. From the outside it looks fine. I just got the tractor off the trailer in this pic. When I was hauling it, I put the hood in the truck just in case it decided to fly off.

Cub 3184, just got it back home.
I have not had time to do much to it aside from removing the entire body two weeks ago and cleaning 10+ years worl fo grass clipping and grease out of the nooks and crannies.
This showcases my temp fix for my bad PTO switch. Not very clean, I have the side panels, it's easier to work on things with them off for now. |

The latest one to follow me home
I figured my old 1650 needed a playmate, I found this 2082 on the local Craigslist. It was listed as not running and priced accordingly. The seller said it was running , he shut it off and it never started again. It was a little beat looking and needed work on all the plastics but we agreed on a price. I sat down on the tractor hit the key and it fired right up, (much to the owners surprise) and I drove it on the trailer. The cause of the no start, I later found out was the PO had the exhaust shrouds off to weld a patch on the muffler and didn't put all the bolts back on. The lower shroud was shorting out the starter lead. I have since replaced all the plastics, the seat, the muffler, installed a set of AG tires, and done a full maintenance.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
