Got my stack put back on , put a spring assist on the 108 and fixed my 1 of 3 brinly plows. It needed the plate that sticks out the back and packs the furrow. So I built one of those and got it put on. Now im really pumped to start plowing!

It won't be much longer till plow time. Spring is close, I can smell it. Well ok we had 72 degree weather today too, that helped.

Looking good, Nick! Love the snow! It was 77 here today. I won't be using my blade this Winter.

Today i pulled the deck on the 108 and put the hydra sickle on. Looks good and works great! That is until the moment i was working it in a section of tall grass. The engine began hunting and surging, and possibly started to knock. After I got it home it began to backfire through both the carb and exhaust, and choke out as soon as the throttle was moved beyond idle. Hopefully i can get back on its feet here soon. So sorry for no action shots but i did take this one for you guys!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
