Well, I got the valves in my K301 today with the spring compresser that DX3 told me about it worked great! I got all the tins on and put in the tractor and started it up. It started with a puff of smoke than kicked right off! It runs like a brand new motor I'm so happy It sucks that the driveline is out or i would take it for a spin. I'll have pics and a video for u Duke tomorrow!

This was yesterday morning,a really nice day considering it's early March. Last week we had about 75 ton of stone hauled in on our lane. The guy that hauled the stone done a good job spreading it except were he stopped and started in one place. So I sure hated to, but I put the blade on the 782 and leveled it off. HE- HE- HE Sure felt good getting some seat time. That's the first work I've done with the 782 since the briggs repower, and it worked really good. Before I could do any grading I had to make a lift rod for the 782 since that was the first time I had put the blade on the 782. Shown below is the white adjustable one I had made for the 149 and the red one for the782. The one for 782 had to have a slight bow in it to clear the spread frame. Before I made the new rod I pulled the tractor's front tires up on two 2x4 blocks so I could measure the rod,and so I could get some added down pressure on the blade once done.

CCSuperMan careful with that adult beverage too much and the driver gets plowed instead of the field. Most times the driver does not care though.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
