I got the 73 out today to let my 9 year old take it for a spin around the yard. He did pretty well considering its his first try on a gear drive tractor. He's been doing really well with the 127, I figured he was ready to tackle the 73. I forgot how quick it is in 3rd gear :biggrin2.gif: He pretty much stayed in 2nd the whole time.....Sorry the vid quality is poor...crappy old Kodak camera.

What I did with my cub cadets today was take pictures of them all lined up. From left to right is my 982, my 682 and my 582.

Loaded the 6-12 ags in my 73 today...what a pain in the butt!!! Bought one of those adaptors with bleeder valve at TSC and tried filling it with a funnel...was taking WAY too long. Then I bought one of those supposedly self-priming drill pumps...it was useless. Spent way more time trying to get the pump to work than I ought to have. After I cleaned up the mess all over the floor it was about 2.5 hours to fill the tires. Not nearly as quick as I would have hoped. The good thing is that they're loaded now. Added about 30 lbs per tire. Once the snow plow is mounted, let the snow start flying!!! Oh yeah, then I took my lawn sweeper out and picked up a ton of leaves with the 73. Jason

Diz Jr, where'd you get your pump? I'm assuming you drew from a bucket or something and then just pressed the breeder valve on the adaptor periodically? How long did it take you to fill your tires? Jason

I bought mine at local hardware store (do it center)





Took about 1/2 hour each tire.
Just run the drill hard as it would go. Keep filling the bucket. Stop every once and a while and let the air out. As it gets fuller you have to stop more often. (Not as much air space left)
