We use steel tubing at work for hydraulic lines on machinery. I got the tubing and bender from work and then took the lines back into work and flared them.

Default hydraulic lines

IHinIN;

So if I have equipment that will bend and flare steel tubing, what quality steel tubing would I need to make hydraulic lines.

I used to make brake lines for medium duty trucks, (like C50-C60 Chevs, F700 Fords etc.) would those lines be strong enough to handle the pressure of my hydraulics, where can I buy tubing that will work?

I would like to do something that looks as cool as yours does, and big ole hoses hanging on my tracto just doesn't do it for me.

Brake line tubing would work. It should be rated around 2000 psi or maybe higher. Make sure you get the right fittings on the ends to fit whatever fittings you use on the valve, pump, etc. If you have a local hydraulics supply store, check with them and see if they sell the tubing and fittings. You might also check the McMaster Carr site and see what they have. I know they sell all kinds of tubing but I'm not sure about fittings.

No such thing as a hydraulics store here, closest we have is the local Farm Store, out here in BFE. I will check out the Mcmasters site, but will probably end up using brakeline tubing.

Check out this Cub with a diesel and 3 speed gear box. The deck lift is hydraulic and it has power steering. It looks to be factory. Did not know they made like that.

That is not factory. This was discussed previously on here. Someone put in a gear drive rear and added a hydraulic pump to run the hydraulic lift.

I got the cylinder, lines, and levers painted and put back on. I also added a filter to the system. It's a power steering filter I picked up at Autozone. I'll post some pics later.
