She said to give her a couple of weeks. I believe she will text me when she knows something and I will pass it along to everyone.

I have been away from this site for awhile, but Roland only lived a few miles from me. I have been in contact as well with the family and they are trying to sort the whole thing out but they would like the site to keep going. I am willing to help make it happen and will keep everyone updated.

I am sorry to just hear of Rolands passing. I know just enough about forums to know they require active participation of mods, and admins and depending on the nature of the contract with the hosting company, someone needs to keep up the maintenance of the forum software , security certificates, etc.... they won't run themselves. (EDIT: The version of Vbulletin that the site is hosted on, is 14 yrs old. That's not great )
I'd be glad to chip in with the hosting fees and grunt work, but I'm not sure if the sponsors are still active, etc. There's a lot of loose ends. I'm willing to help. John

OK I have been talking to Charlie Proctor one of Rolands very close friends and I've been talking to Tim. I'll do what I can to help keep OCC alive. I need the phone number for Rolands daughter and his son. You can PM it to me to keep it private.

I think someone posted it in this thread (or another one). It probably should be hidden.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
