Here are some other filter numbers for you.
NAPA oil filter 1064
NAPA air filter 6270
NAPA hyd filter 1410

If you find that you need to get into other areas like the trans or need to replace things like hose's or the fan belt let me know, I have the numbers in my file.

Thank You so much for the info. I installed the new hydro filter and the oil looked ok for now. I don't have a battery yet so I hooked up jumper cables to my daughters Original and gave it a try, 3 short cranks later and she's alive!! 3-point goes up and down and the tractor moves foreward and backward. Front and rear Pto seemed to work also. I can't believe how smooth and quiet it runs. This gas Kubota sounds verry similar to my diesel Kubota in my 882. I love the way it sounds and it is verry quiet also. The steering is super quick and super easy to turn. I think I'm gona love this new to me machine!

Put the two of them side by side and take a close look at both engines. Glad you got it running sounds like you have a winner.

Great looking Cub...gotta admit I had no idea there was a Kubota gas engine.

Anyhow I just joined the site, and lo and behold, we only live a couple minutes apart! Drop me a line if you'd like to chat Cub Cadet some time.

Thanks for all the comments. Last night I topped off the hydro fluid and did a temperary rig job with a battery from my 882 and started the 2182. Cold start, no choke (choke cable is seized) 75 degrees in my shop and it started with only a 1/2 second touch of the keyswitch. I'm verry happy with the way this thing runs!! Tonight I will have the fenders off and install a new trunion spring setup. The small spring and one end cap is missing at this time. I will be installing the stiffer trunion spring that is an exhaust spring from the help section that I found info about on this site. More pics tonight.

Sorry I worded that wrong I fixed it. Someone here I believe came up with the idea You can use a spring from the help section at the auto part store. It is an exhaust manifold spring Help part number 03107. It is stiffer than the original trunion spring and it should give a better response to your travel lever. I'm going to give it a try tonight and see if it works well.

Yep got the spring idea from J-Mech, I did that on the 2182 I'm working on. Looks like it will work just fine.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
