Ok, I am new to the world of mechanics and Cub Cadets. So, I have a IH Cub Cadet 127. The engine is stuck and doesn’t run at all. It is a hydro so does that mean that the rear axle won’t ever move at all until I have a new running engine in it? It is a good idea to use those rollers from harbor freight, I’m gonna buy a pair for sure!

Your question is answered in the Operator's Manual (page 13) found in the Tech Library.

Default Milwaukee Sawzall

I got a brand new Milwaukee M18 Fuel cordless super sawzall. So far used it for cutting some limbs off of a tree and brush. Works great. Milwaukee makes great products!

My Mom got me a Milwaukee M18 1/2 impact/M12 3/8 ratchet kit for Christmas. They are both older tools from the Milwaukee line but they should be handy around the house.

I’ve bought a few Dewalt cordless tools to add to my collection. Lowe’s had some good deals going. For $200 I got a combo with a 12v 3/8” ratchet, 20V 1/2” stubby impact, 2 batteries, bag and charger. The bare tool ratchet alone is normally $179. If you bought a 2 pack of 20V 5ah batteries with 4amp charger and bag for $200, then you got a free bare tool. I chose the compact router which is normally $219 bare tool.
Yesterday, I started on making a simple table for the router and used it to round over the corners of some pieces for my Kubota cab. It is appropriately CC/Dewalt yellow too. It just happened to be a piece of scrap plywood I had lying around that was apparently underneath something I had painted for my 100.

Might get one of those for my wife since she wants to commandeer my Dewalt 2gal cordless vacuum. Does it have good suction?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
