The best plow machine there was a 2 horse power/one man killer machine!!!
It was a little wet at first, and everybody hung up a little, by ten or 11 it got dry enough to plow good!! david got lots of picks!

Looks like you all had a great time. Hate hearing the clutch crapped out on you.

My review of the plow day. I got there late and plowing had begun already. Field was wet and traction was a problem. The horse team was plowing and was spoked by the tractors so everyone stopped to let them do some plowing. Earl told me that one of the horses fell so they stopped right after that.

I didn't have wheel weights on and battled traction problems until I got on Davids 882D! Sweet set up! I don't think David enjoyed plowing with the 1200 as much I did on his 882D! Ben had a wheel bearing go out on his 123 and his dad dropped the trailer and went got some JD bearings to get him up and running again.

It was rough plowing today. Jim started plowing from the outside to the inside and driving over what you just plowed was a pain. Everyone was having problems getting hung up on the furrow and that took a lot of the fun out of it. I've been taking some pain reliever and I'm still sore. But I got to turn some dirt so it was a great day. Once my clutch went out I loaded up and headed to the house. I have everything on hand to rebuild the clutch so no worries just got to do it.

It went out on David when I was getting some smoker seat time. I did try to trade him even up but he didn't think it was a fair trade.

That 147 is wicked fast! I've never seen a cub go that fast before! It pulled the plow pretty good too!

You guys finish the field after I left?

HI, the guy in the shorts was my brother-inlaw, (John McDufford,golfer/retired Roadway driver) needed a pro to help me out, he thought, nothing to this plowing stuff, well now his saying I ruined his golf game!! stated it was like riding a buckin bronk! Like U said the cross plowing at the top of the hill was killer, WE ONLY HAVE 6" of ground clearence, need turn around path of not plowed ground! also some one was cutting a 8-11" furrow, nice job but if U follow, and only have 6" ground clearence, results Ain't gonna be purdy!! still good to turn dirt!!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
