Sorry for just getting back with you on this...But I have already had my manual valves rebuilt. Auto ones defiantly are more convenient, but I probably won't be having to push this tractor much, anyway. HOPEFULLY!!

Took the drive hub off of the input shaft, to have it re-machined..Also zipped off the wheels real quick with the Dewalt impact.

Finished priming the frame, then power washed the rear end, and started priming it.
Will be finishing, and starting sanding tomorrow, and hopefully be ready to shoot the frame and rear end this weekend.

I've already done a little thinking on whether I'm going to use it much or not! ![]() At the most, might run a 48" deck. After I paint it, too...That is!

My tractors get the filthiest by using the mowing decks. Go ahead and put it to work, the dirt washes off!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
