I love the idea of Bilge Blowers to help cool the cub's engine compartment. That's great creativity.

Well I have finished the last coat of paint on the blade, now the waiting game.
72 hrs and I can start putting her back together. I'm happy with the way it turned out looks good and worth the time I spent sand blasting it. Can't wait to get it together. OH I forgot I still need to find the IH sticker. |

I have been working on my 1450 dual stick everyday and as soon as I am finished I will do my blade. It looks like it has had little use and been stored indoors.
![]() I have not had it mounted yet and can't wait to see how it works. I just got a 1050 with a blade mounted and been playing with it. Will be nice to have power lift and tilt. I think mine will be nothing like the work you put into yours. Good Job!! You going to be worried about scratching it?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
