Nothing to add other than to note it really depends on your location as to what you refer to equipment as. Saying disc here will get you a funny look. We say harrow, not disc harrow. For soft land or leveling we use a gang harrow. For deep cutting or burying trash we use an offset. For old timers you may find a spring tooth harrow or possibly a section harrow--both work good to level land and make a seed bed providing there isn't much trash. I've seen a small offset disc harrow (think I used all the terms so we would know what I'm referring too) for garden tractors and ATV's. It is a tow type with a hand crank for lifting. If it were built heavy enough to start with and you added a small hydraulic cylinder for lifting, you'd have a really nice tillage tool. For that matter an energetic soul could build one.

No I didn't build that field cultivator. I found it out in some tall weeds at my uncles house and he said he didn't want it so I took it. I tore it all apart and restored it but used case IH red & black to match tractor. It has tag still on it with model #, it says it's a Gilson.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
