Well seeing that at our bota dealier we have well over 100 pieces of equipment on our yard that has been done or waiting to be repaired or serviced. I can see how someone could pick up the wrong piece but if its been there over 30 days were not responsable for it. If some one cant come and pick it up for what ever reason we will call and see if we can bring it back just to avoid this problem. But IMHO you couldnt give me a ZD. Dont belive me, wait for the first repair bill on a tranny! You could have replaced all the pumps and wheel motors on any Scag Exmark Junky Deere ect.

Ok im crawling back under my rock till someone lets me out again.

My dealer is pretty large, they sell Exmark, Toro, Cub, Gravely, Stihl, Echo and dozens of misc brands of add-ons and attachments. Their check in procedure is that they tag each piece of equipment with a zip tie and laminated card that can't be torn off, then the customer gets a pick ticket with a corresponding number. They don't let anything out of the door without that ticket when you come to pick something up.

I don't think that a regular home owner would let that caliber of ZTR go home with them because honestly, most people don't realize the difference between a $15k commercial grade ZTR and something you pay $3k at Lowe's. However, I do see a shady lawncare operator or the such try to sneak something out.

This really sucks, hope you get an answer or a new Kubota soon!!!

Talked to my dealer yesterday and the ZD331 has been discontinued too... Kubota doesn't want to fight the tier IV emissions so they've tweaked the ZD326 to have a high output version for the 72" deck.

Purely a guess but I'd say it's back home in the garage....or we'd have heard more about it by now.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
