NIK is my first name, short for Nikodemas.

Then I was nick- named the nikster about 40 some years ago from a group I used to hunt with & from the old neighborhood where I grew up in during my youth. The guys that I grew up with & still have get-together with are persistent with our old nick- names.
Eg.

Bob = bud
Glen = G
Big Ron
Little Ron
Lenny = ski
Bob = Bo
Etc.

My other forum handles,

Like; Nikster17264
Nikster15182
Or just --- nikster.

I've used my forum handle for years on other forums and it's stuck. First one I used it on was the Red Power Mag Forum. I used to own a nice IH 1256. It was a nice tractor and I sure miss it now.

Anywho,

Red= um, kind of self explanatory, Farmall red
56= 56 series of tractor (1256)
Turbo= nuttin' like the whine of a turbo under load

I just put my name in my sig................

My username came about because I am a critical nemesis of the local politics and good-ol-boys on various local forums.
And nobody knows who I am and wish they did so that they could silence me .

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
