The profile pic is the one listed on your profile, some people have them, some don't. The avatar is the one that is in the corner of all your posts. I assumed you meant the avatar, because he doesn't have a profile pic.

What's the purpose?.... I dunno, clarity? I guess I just like people to use proper names and terms on things. NBD really. Didn't mean to make it a big deal.

Well, I snapped a couple pics, but no real action shots. Nice to have the Lo-Boy running good and the big blade. Nicer to have the 450 blower and the 1811 with the cab back online!

And here's a couple just for Ryan. Just so he knows the 1050 is still getting worked! Hadn't started her for probably 2 months. Fired right up! (Ok, not right up.... but it started fine after a long crank. )

Finally got some seat time on the 2072 thanks to Octavia. Definitely getting chains for next year, had a hard time making it up the hill but the turning brakes really came in handy. Found out I have some linkage issues that prevent me from going full speed in reverse, I was crawling when backing up. But overall it saved me hours of shoveling, very happy I got the plow.

One thing I noticed , the power angle is very slow when angling towards the right, works great in the other direction.Any idea what might be causing that?

Thanks John!! She looks good with the blade back on it. Something about that tractor just tells me it was meant for the snow Is she still huffin and a puffin out there or has that all cleared up?

That Lo-Boy with the blade looks like it means business, but also looks like it could use some chains! And the 1811, glad to see you finally got it back up and going! I was wondering how you were handling the dumping of snow y'all got down there. I knew the 1050 would be pulling its weight but last I knew the Lo-Boy and 1811 were down. You work quick when you have to, I suppose.

Common problem is the hydraulic valve has slipped down on the steering shaft, thus limiting lever movement. Other possibilities are a bad hydraulic coupler. Just as a note, it will move faster one way than the other just by nature of a hydraulic cylinder. The rod end has less volume than the piston end. Thus taking longer to stroke out than in.

Thanks Jonathan. I would say it's about 5 times slower in one direction than the other, takes about 2 seconds to fully angle in one direction and about 10 seconds to angle in the other direction, starting from a center position. Is that within normal range due to the volume difference? Not a huge issue really, might leave it be even if it's abnormal.

No, it shouldn't take twice as long. Check that valve position. It's a pretty common issue.

All I know is I'm tired of my truck being dirty.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
