Allen,
Just like everyone else said, don't pay any attention to him. Where I work, you're a nothing if you're not into rock crawling or some sort of powersport. I catch crap all the time, because I "play with old junk tractors, lawn mowers, old cars and am a hoarder", but I just try my best to ignore them. I was born with a lazy eye and as a result, have no depth perception and can't catch tthings. I have one co-worker that tells me I can't see and calls me a blind sob, but since he is buddies with the supervisor I can't get that problem fixed. In this case, it's his way of trying to cut me down, because I'm a better machinist than he will ever dream of being. It's just one of those things I have to live with. You just can't let one POS spoil the whole thing.

Allen, all I have to say is, we are all so glad to have you and Jenn here on OCC! Glad your staying, and keep doing the hobbie you love! Nothing better than coming on here and seeing one of your nice comments, or your big smile when your sweeping your lawn with one of the Cubs.

I say we hunt his a$$ down, tie him to the back of that sweet 982 and take him for a drag!!!--- if there were anyway to get ahold of him we would prob find out he is a dwarf with a big mouth and no friends, prob the kid that got stuffed into his own locker in high school for running his mouth too much!! I HATE facebook!!!!! And I hate the word hate, its probably the most hurtfull word in our vocabulary! I have an exwife and two daughters that used to post how much they hate me and how I am a POS because I love the kids(5) that live with me more than I do them because that is what there "mom", and I use that term very loosly, like she is, had drilled into their head over the years. But they are growing up now and come stay every weekend with me, and actually got to see how much their posts hurt me and see how much we love them and that love is unconditional and apologize for saying(posting)all the mean things about me.
That guy probably has a mom like my X, that has neglected and abused him his whole life and blame every body on earth for the way he is except the ones who are trulley responsible!!
I have a bad back (deteriating disc) and if it were not for my boys helping me all the time I would be screwed!! I cant afford to pay someone to do my chores so we push on everyday! My boys know how much they mean to me and are grateful for the time we spend together even if most of our time is spent working but we take time out to just walk across the street to the river bank and sit there drowning worms and shootin the breeze. But they are happy, I am happy, so all the haters out there can kiss our A$$s!! Just remember there will always be that a$$ h¤le that is jealouse of you and the things you have worked hard to obtain and the relationship you have with your wife, and see how happy you are so they gotta try to make you as miserable as they are!

Hey Allen,

I agree with what everyone has said! This guy is a tool, dragging him behind that 982 is a great idea.

I think he is just jealous that you own THE best garden tractor ever produced, the IH 982! Dude, you could be blind, one armed, one legged, hooked up on a dialysis machine and you'd still be better that guy! You have a 982!!!!!! You have a 982 with a wife who is your rock! You sir...have it made.

Anyway Allen, all jokes aside, you have always been the glue that held this site together. I always thought you owned the site, you ARE the site. Forget this guy and realize that Facebook and all internet forums for that matter can and will attract the same flies as a big pile of sh1t. We pay no mind to them, just swat them when the come close to us.

Let us all know if you EVER need anything.

Your friend,

Rob

Allen,

For what it's worth, I have been around the forum for a while now and I had no idea that you had problems with your eyes.

I admire you for not letting a disability get in your way. And kudos to your wife for helping you enjoy your hobby!

You are a huge positive asset to the cub cadet community!!

I always look forward to reading your posts because I NEVER see anything negative.

Please keep your head up and stay around.... wouldn't be the same without you!!

Go take a spin on the 982!!!

One thing I dislike about forums/social media sites is how people can come across. Case in point I was joking with another member on a site and someone thought it was offensive even though the other person didn't see it that way.

I wouldn't let the comments of one individual influence what you enjoy. If you do, they've won.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
