So we ended up with about 22", shudda set up the blower. I ran out of room to push the snow.

We got lucky, only a dusting that blew off the driveway. Nice and warm 10 degrees and wind is blowing about 40 MPH. Did I ever mention that I hate winter?

Have about 12" inches on the ground here in the Finger Lakes area. Amounts vary by location. The wind was up all night. Had 2 foot drifts this morning. The Beast was up to challenge.

Just come in from blowing out the driveway. A solid 18" with drifts taller than the drift cutters on the 451. Let the big dog eat. LMAO The Syracuse news says now the storm affect snow is almost done then the lake affect will kick in. I hate that guy.

Storm was kind of a let down. Predicted 16-24" ended up with around 8-10. The sleet made it wicked heavy, so I had to use the Ariens blower and then plow to blacktop. Getting that itch for a 451.

I hear that, the local news made it sound like the storm of the century and all we got was 3-4" that was really dry.

Well storm is over and we got a total of 16". I was out three times with the 1882 and 450 blower to stay ahead of it through the course of the storm. Other than a fuel pump issue, the Cyclops did great. I lost two shear bolts on the auger flight (gravel driveway!) but have plenty in stock. The blower is a tough old buzzard, had one drift over the cutters and she slowly chewed thru it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
