What is the correct color of the S/G. In my research I am seeing both black and yellow. I made my 100 yellow, but kind of liking the black????
Looking great!! The SG should be yellow on an "O". They started leaving them black later on.. Late 1969 I think.. but I'm like you .. I kinda prefer the look of the black SG.. leave it as you please.. it's your tractor!

Here is an advertising leaflet for an "O". Not certain the year, came from the dealer dad worked for, notice the red ink stamp with the dealers name. Generator looks yellow. I notice in the "color" picture (is that a lithograph, not familiar how things were done then), that the front wheel bolts were yellow. Is that correct or did the art department touch up the photo?

Zippy,, every time I look at your pictures I am amazed at the quality of your work ...... Awesome.

One more question for you. I want to put the copper fuel line in, but my fittings on the carb and sediment bowel are for rubber hose, which is fine for now. Did you find those somewhere or did yours originally have them? If you did make them up new where did you locate them.

Got it running this morning. Not happy with the carb, very touchy. I have another carb and I threw that on and it worked much better. Need to take a look at that. Also the governor disk is sticking when I idle down. Probably have some paint that needs cleaning off. Will take a look at the carb again. I have good solid spark and it is charging so overall not too bad.

Went to local ACE hardware store and picked up the elbows and a piece of copper tubing. Now I have to practice my bending without kinking it
