Thanks Guys ..... ordered a set of 4.00 x 8 tri ribs for the frount from trucktire
today , going to see what they look like on the wide front rims . I know they will ballon out , tring to see if the middle rib will bite more on the puller .
as i do not think they make a single rib size that small . next project will be too make the hood longer , and take a pic of the paint job on the 104 so far .

Default 124 mower deck

Today I finished mounting a 48" deck, mule drive and under carriage that I found locally for my 124. The deck is very solid with some surface rust that I will soon sand blast off and repaint. No holes and the spindles are good !! It isn't too pretty right now, but it mows good ! :biggrin2.gif:

Nice deck I went to look at a couple of decks today. Guy had them advertised on craigslist. Got there and they looked worse than mine have to keep looking.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
