Used the 2084 to go to the neighbors to pick up my augers from my 451 snow thrower and bring them home. We loaned our welder to the neighbor who is rebuilding a jeep and we needed to weld worn holes in both augers where they bolt on the shaft. Turned out good so now to get em ready to paint.

Got the carriage bolts for the 1872. Hopefully, I'll have wheel weights on the 1872 this evening.

Well late this afternoon my Dad's 2084 decided to spring a oil leak and make a mess underneath all the shrouding so I told him to get the tools ready and were going to pull the command so the engine is sitting in the middle of the garage floor and I talked to cousin Joe and this week we are going to get to the bottom of why we have this oil mess, Dad does have some pics so we will just have to wait till he posts them.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
