What would it go for?
Hey youngguyoldcubs
My answer to your question is that I think it would go for a ride to my place. I'd love to have a 126. That's the model that got me interested in CC's about 18 years ago. Looks nice. |

New member here. There is some very nice machinery on this site! Glad I found it. I had 2 Cubs follow me home in the last couple of weeks and from what I have read there will be more to follow. The first was an MTD 2146 for mowing duties and this nice running 123 that came with mower deck and snowblower. I'm Getting prepared to change all fluids and fine tune stuff. Feels like a keeper already.

Restored 800 at it's first show
Weather was great and had fun shelling corn. It's good to have machinery that the kid's can have fun with. We set it up and the kid's that attended the "Beacon Hotel Plow and Show Day" had fun putting the corn in the sheller (we had sure safety was priority #1). Good day all around and I thank my friend Wally for all his work on the event.
Methos Love that 123. One of my favorite models. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
