Had some time this weekend to get back to my 1711. The weather's been so nice I figured I better take advantage so we got it outside and pressure washed the chassis and the engine. Here's some before and after pics. It's so much nicer when you can see the parts you're working on

I had time today to turn the garden upside down. I love the seat time on my 582.

Doug,
Great shot of the sod turned over. Looks like you will have a nice garden next year.
Some shots as Cheryl and I gleaned our garden last weekend. Yea I had to get the 147 out in the sun too!
Hope things are good out there. Have fun with the Cubs!
Regards,
Chris

Got double seat time today. Hauled Jenn's Fall decorations with the 1872 and #2 cart. Did some lawn sweeping with good ole Dually!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
