I tilled a 3' high hump that we thought was a root from the big maple.....turned out it was fill dumped there by the previous owners.
Then we dug up a Holly that the previous yoyo's planted 2' away from the house, and now is touching all the way up to the (any guesses) POWER LINES it was planted directly under and are growing around.
Some people.
It's like they think, "this TREE will stay this size forever, and never grow".

My son and I took the 48" mower deck off the 124, and he sandblasted it while I supervised! I'll be painting it in a day or two.

This is what I did...7 gallons of eco friendly antifreeze in each wheel.Man they are heavy as hell to put on when loaded. Why no one told me that is beyond me...lol

and added some non stock bright lights (in case I locate a snow blade so I can see while plowing now...)

I also removed the 44 inch deck and mule drive so I can clean them and put new bearings in the center and left spindles,as well as replace the main pulley,which I just found out is bent up pretty good.

Anyone know where to buy the deck decals at??

I'll get some pics of it tomorrow after work. Actually loading the tires was a simple task.I made a simple bucket hose setup and it worked like a charm. Took about an hour to do both rims, and I can't get 1 more ounce of fluid in them. I also added dish soap to help keep the antifreeze from tearing up the rim paint. I took it for a spin tonight and I can tell a huge difference already. Now, I will be making a set of wheel weight brackets and buying some 10 lb weights to add to it..

Decided to snap a couple tonight yet...

Before i forget. You know when we were talking about loading tires. I guess i didnt mention to leave them on the tractor and fill them, They are a pain to reinstall once they are loaded.

Lets say I picked it up from work....lol Actually it was diesel antifreeze that they send to a recycler and pay to have hauled away. I asked if they wanted to get rid of 15 gallons and they were glad to oblige. Since I work for Pa they have to follow safeguards and they wont reuse the old antifreeze. I will be getting some more for my sons tractor when he puts his AGs on. We only have about 20 gallons left though.My rig to install was a 5 gallon bucket that I drilled a 3/8 hole in then used rubber washers on the nipple and threaded it into the bucket. I bought 3 ft of 5/16 clear tubing for 88 cents and pushed it on the valve stem and the nipple. Filled the bucket and let it drain in the tire..Pretty easy job. Figure I have about 65-75 lbs a wheel.. Pretty good deal for less than 3 bucks...
