I'm down to two Super's. Sold the 2282 today to a local guy. He came over to look at the JD317 I have listed for sale on C-List and ended up with the 2282. Very cool guy, and he has a NICE machine shop in his garage.

Congrats on the sale Sam!

I got around to loading some tires today. I've got to do some swapping and put them on a cub that's heading down the road.

No Cub time today, but.............

Friday night, pulled the 50C off of the 1712, went totally through it, new EZ-Slide on the bottom side, sharpened the Gator Blades....it's ready for spring.

Then changed oil in the 1712, pulled the front wheels and serviced them, swapped the 10.5" Tru-Powers for the 8.5 turfs-weights-chains (ready for winter) full grease job, then waxed her up

Saturday after deer hunting in the morning, plowed my parents 40' X 140' garden with the 1712 and 12" Brinly...then came home and plowed my 40' X 50' garden.

The 'freshened up' KT17 Series II totally laughs at the 12" plow now

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
