Ok, over that past days I've gotton a lot done. monday saw the 149 in the quonset. wouldn't start. new plug, away she went into the garage. pulled the plate off the hydro. I got a sludgey mess there. drained the oil from the engine. put in new 30. today, I pulled the k341 out of the 149. I got the k321 on the hoist and dropped in. got two bolts in and then had to go. all in all, a great day! anybody else do anything?!

Well today I took the 72 with loader and pulled out all 24 pine tree that my parents plantet 3 years ago that died over the winter.

Pulling them out this time of the year is a sure lot easyer than mid summer when the ground has had a chance to dry out.

Drop the bucket next to the tree, wrap a short chain arounf the trunk twice and hook to bucket. Lift bucket and out comes the tree, roots and all.

Great work Tyler and Lonny!

As for me, I hauled more limbs with the 100 and cart.

Did a little clean up at my parents old place today. Took the 149 and the trailer.

My daughter helped me gather up sticks and branches.

I drug some of the bigger limbs.

GT2554

Pulled a 6X12 mesh-bed trailer with 2 scoops of mulch on FLAT ground. Even ran the mower deck some on way to and fro. Did just fine.

I put on my new sleeve hitch today. I hope to test it out with the plow at the farm tomorrow.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
