I'm working on the 2182 right now and I suspect I am having an issue with one of the seat switches. Does anyone have a wireing schematic for the 2182? I did a quick search and I cannot find one.

I recieved the schematics. Thank You much! I figured out the issues with the safety switches it wound up being the front Pto switch. If you hold the key in the crank position and wiggle the Pto switch the tractor will start. I guess it's time for a new switch. I installed the new trunion spring and caps and it works great! Thanks J-Mech for the idea!

I have to replace the studs in the exhaust manifold that hold the muffler assembly on. One stud is broken just like my diesel Kubota. I have all the new parts to do the job but I am looking for the torque specs of the nuts. Can anyone help with the proper torque specs? I had the 2182 out working today. This thing is awesome! Here is today's pics.

Lookin good. Just a FYI, Xtreme sells some clip thing that keeps the bar that you have the tow ball mounted on from rotating. They also sell a sweet hitch that you can use with Brinley style equipment. I have one on this 2182. It has 3 holes for the tow balls. Link to Xtreme. Click on 3 point hitch's and scroll down.

Thanks for the pics and info. I saw the sleeve hitch adaptor in one of your threads. I will definatly be ordering one after I get the other little things taken care of on this machine. I'm still looking for the torque specs for the exhaust manifold to muffler assembly studs/nuts. If anyone knows where I could find the torque specs that would be great. Thanks

I'd just tighten them to what a 1/4" bolt would be torqued. When I went to remove the rotted out mess of a muffler on the 2182 I'm working on 2 of the 4 snapped off even after Power blaster and heating it with the cutting torch. Ended up drilling and tapping the manifold for 5/16" bolts. So far the bolts and studs in the head are holding but I can see that they will be a problem. My guess is that will escalate into removing the head and going to the machine shop. It's not broken so I'm not touching it. Pic shows what I ended up doing.

I have another question. The fuel pump is starting to work intermittently on my 2182. If I tap on it it will start working again. I looked up the fuel pump and it is quite pricey. I looked at aftermarket ones and there are two choices. A 2-4 psi and a 4-7 psi. I cannot find the specs online. What fuel pressure does the Kubota WG600 require? Thank you

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
