My whole family are john force fans and I've had the opportunity to talk to him a few times at the many races I've been to he's a real down to earth guy when your talking to him, he doesn't talk down or act like a big shot like some of the other racers. If you guys find yourself with some time to kill check out his youtude channel, there's a multi part documentary on there talking about everything from his first race til the present. I can't remember how long it is but you might want to go pee and grab a snack before you start watching.

I got a new R/C car this week. It's a Team Associated ProSC 4x4 short course truck. It has a brushless motor and will handle 2S & 3S LiPo batteries. I bought a new charger and a couple of 4000mAh 3S LiPo batteries. I ran it today with the 8.4 volt NiMH battery it came with and it is faster than any electric R/C I've had in the past. It should be insane with the 11.1 volt LiPo.

As some of you know I'm an ex road racer. Well I just got the new Longacre catalog and they have corner scales to help set the corner weights for RC cars like the Nascar guys use. Do they pay big prize $$ for racing these things?
Check this out. http://www.longacreracing.com/products.aspx?itemid=1765

generally there's no prize money, only way to make money racing rc is to be sponsored. we raced for bragging rights and free entry for next weeks race.

The brushless motors and LiPo batteries is all new to me too. Battery technology has come a long way since the days of NiCad batteries and 5 min run times.

Fancy new truck! Yes, the brushless motors and lipos are insane! Cars can very normally hit 60+ mph as a norm. Most of mine are geared to hang around 30+ but to be honest that is fast enough to have fun and not break everything

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
