Had a little time in between the rain today to get some work done on the cab. I saw some 3m stick on raised rubber treads at TSC today, so I picked them up. They don't look to bad, and will give me some time to track down a set of steel foot treads and get them powder coated.
The lights that I ordered from ebay came in. I got them all mounted. It is going to take me awhile to get them all wired, but I did get the rear fender lights wired. I will show you guys the others as I get them wired. The rear fender lights wound up fitting the existing holes, but are not centered in the pocket. I am going to leave them this way instead of trying to drill new holes so close to the ones already there.

Looks good! The lights dont look to bad off center. I wouldnt worry about it if it means drilling new holes. Not sure how the lights are but is it possible to drill new holes in the lights plastic mount? Just an idea maybe but if you didnt say anything it would be hard to tell. Looks good though. Its going to be an awesome machine when you are done.

LARRYW,
The lights are sealed with some kind of epoxy. I don't think trying to move the holes in them is a good idea. Most people probably would never notice they are not centered, but things like that stand out to me. I think I will get over it. ![]() It was not dark enough to show how bright they are in that picture. When I get the rest of them wired ,I will take a night shot.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
