This is Abby, our Golden Retriever mix. We kept her hair short. Had to put her down this fall right before her 17th birthday.

Well I would show you a picture of my Golden, but she went to heaven after 12 years back during the Summer. Sad day at the Young house that day, but we all got over it on on with life. I have had dogs all my life and I tell you it's hard to loose them and as you get older it gets harder to want one knowing your going to have to go through the the whole deal again. We haven't replaced her yet with another dog, but my daughter brought this home a month ago. Yeah we have cats around five last count and then this one.

It's a Bengal cat and I must admit after all of these years I never heard of one. Anyway he is a pretty cool cat and a lover boy to boot. It's about the most vocal cat I ever heard in my life and when the daughter moves into her home we are fixing up he's going with her.

This is our mutt Payton. The fiance and I adopted her about a year ago from a shelter one town over. She had been picked up as a stray on the streets of another small town about 15 miles away. She is estimated to be about 2 years old and she is nothing short of a sweet, spoiled little brat! But we love her and couldn't imagine a day without her now. She's pretty smart, too; basic tricks like sit, lay down, stay are easy. But she's also picked up how to walk on her hind legs, she won't take a treat until you say "munch", she'll lay down with a treat on her paw and won't eat it till you count to 5, and a couple others. This pic was taken on a road trip her and I went on, for a Cub of course! Hope y'all enjoy!

Edit: Here's another one for good measure I managed to dredge up.

It's amazing how we get attached to our pets. Or is it the other way around?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
