They are scarce PITA fittings. I could not find anyone to make them. I used that portion of used CC lines.

I think if I was going to do the valve addition I would take the valve apart and then drill and tap it for pipe thread. They you could use readily available fittings.

Thanks guys, I was thinking about doing that, but thought I would see if I could find a fitting or adapter available. Sounds like that isn't going to be easy to do. Guess I will break out the trusty old tap set and get to work. Once that is done, it should be pretty easy to get the right hoses.

Got the fittings from the machine shop today. Had him do 20 so we got a little better price. $7.00 ea. Not sure what it will cost to mail them. Worst case would be $5.80 USPS flat rate. PM me if you want any.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
