Snowing pretty hard now, no fear of it sticking though since it hasn't been cold out.

Screw that. Hope you guys get all the snow you want! I hope I get the cab back on the 1811, blower mounted and it sits in the garage all winter. I'm not getting my hopes up though. Almanac says we are going to be getting a lot of snow.
![]() Wish I could ride my motorcycle. Could ride it to the farm all fall during harvest even during the good days because it was too cold and dark when we got done. It's not been put to bed yet. I don't know that I will. I'm the guy who will dig it out on a warm day in Jan if we have any. 55/60 deg is warm enough.

Let it Snow
Oh the weather outside is frightful But the fire is so delightful And since we've no place to go Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! It doesn't show signs of stopping And I've bought some corn for popping The lights are turned way down low Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! When we finally kiss good night How I'll hate going out in the storm! But if you'll really hold me tight All the way home I'll be warm The fire is slowly dying And, my dear, we're still goodbying But as long as you love me so Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

True to my Southern Heritage, I rode the Mule over to the back of the farm this afternoon. It was about 50 deg. and I'm thinking this really SUCKS. I'm ready for one good snow an then back to 80 deg. weather.

Since we somehow managed to get 4" of snow on the ground I figured I better put my winter prep into high gear, I dug out my heater and fired it up so I could get the shed cleaned a little. Now that the mess is off the floor I can begin putting plows and chains on, that will have to wait till tomorrow when I get more kerosene.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
