Guys lets not start arguing with one another over this. Keep it cool or it will get closed.

Constructive criticism of an issue that will affect the future of this community of Cub nuts is a good thing.

All I’ve seen you post about is gloating about Fords and NOS cub parts.
This thread turned into you people who don’t like J and want to cry about it.
Terry, just to be clear I am in no way worried about gaining or retaining new members to the forum. I just pointed out the fact that people left because of Jon and his offensive post and that it was not a new thing on the forum. He was removed as a moderator for a reason. Not really sure how posting about my cars or NOS parts that I have is gloating. I have what I have just like any other member has what they have and post about them. more importantly while I am posting about said Fords and NOS parts I do not find it necessary to belittle and berate other members. This thread has zero to do with liking or not liking Jon and all to do with how one should treat others with respect especially a moderator. I harbor no ill will towards Jon and certainly I am not crying about anything. Just stating facts. Sam Basically said the exact same thing as I did but you chose to come at me. Terry it is very simple if you don't like Fords or NOS parts or me for that matter no one is forcing you to read or respond to my post that's your choice. An idea that may have well served Jon.

I am not trying to start arguments either. Did not know my posting about my stuff was offensive.

Not offensive to me. If I get offended, most of the time I just hit back. Merry Christmas.

I am concerned about new members and promoting the hobby
I have welcomed nearly every new member since I’ve been here.

I’m not offended that you have nice things, just that you don’t ever tell another member that their things are cool and nice too. An idea that would serve you well.

To be fair, a lot of us are guilty of that. I am mostly a lurker on this forum any more, I guess since I got my Super mower and Cyclops snow pusher I got a couple good Cubs and don't need much help with 'em . That being said, I view a lot of threads but don't often comment. But, that's getting into another topic for another thread for another day.

Carry on, all

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
